Kitchen Prep Chef

We are currently looking for someone to join our kitchen team at The Orchard Kitchen for our busy Spring/Summer season.

We’re looking for a Kitchen Prep Chef to work alongside our Head Chef in a part-time role, with full-time hours available for the right person if happy to also help with Front of House duties.

This role would particularly suit a university student looking for summer work in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

The ideal candidate should:

· Be proactive and able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment

· Maintain excellent food hygiene standards at all times

· Be confident working within a small team and taking initiative when needed

· Kitchen experience preferred not essential, although attitude and work ethic are most important

· Be organised, reliable and able to work under pressure

· Assist the Head Chef with kitchen prep and day-to-day kitchen duties

Due to location, own transport is essential.
